Distance Session – 10:30am
Aimed at athletes training for 800m+, cross country and road runners
The second training session of the week usually sees us head to the Downs. This takes the form of a fartlek, intervals, tempo, or threshold efforts around cross country loops to get that endurance performance level up and prepare you for the races to come. These sessions are aimed at athletes targeting events 800m and upwards to long distances. Session reps are run on time so all abilities are welcome! We then move over to Track sessions in the Spring and Summer, focussing on distances ranging from 800m and upwards. We also provide a non-track alternative throughout the summer for those where track may not be suitable.
